Sit 'n' Go Tournaments - 3.6 Player Points are
awarded for every $1 paid in fee.
Multi Table Tournaments - 3.6 Player Points are
awarded for every $1 paid in fee.
Cash Games - 3.6 Player Points are awarded based
on the Essence model for every $1 of rake.
So, for example, if a player bought into a $50 + $4 Multi Table
Tournament (MTT) they would earn 14.4 Player Points.
A player's share of the total amount of points is equal to their
share of the pot. If the total pot is $30, and a player has
invested $15 of that total, then their share of the total Poker
Points awarded would be 50%.
The awarded points would then be adjusted (according to the OnGame
Essence model), which is based on the internal strength
relationship between players in that hand. This means that if you
were to take on less experienced opposition then you would collect
marginally fewer points than your share. In the same way, if you
take on more experienced players, then you would collect a
marginally greater number of points.
